Are those Gauchos?

Today we're learning how to balance equations. With coefficients and what nots. Not the most scintillating of subjects. Or the easiest.
One girl says to me, when I asked if there were any questions, said, "Mrs {Holder}, are those Gauchos you're wearing?" followed by, "You look like a grape cause you're wearing all purple", and "Hey, those a pretty boots. Are they stilettos?"

Bless her heart, she may not have a clue about chemistry, but she's a real fashonista.
