I've seen this meme in many places and since I've got nothing else in my head to share, this will do. I like learning random stuff about people, so here's few about me.

1. Started your own blog.
2. Slept under the stars. Many times. some were voluntary. I slept in the trunk of the family car for a few nights in the summer of '79 with a sheet hanging over the opening to keep the bugs out. We were homeless at the time.
3. Played in a band
4. Visited Hawai’i
5. Watched a meteor shower. My son and one of his buddies and I watched from our back porch.- a favorite memory of mine.
6. Given more than you can afford to charity
7. Been to Disneyland. Disney world, twice. Makes me very happy to be there.
8. Climbed a mountain. Does Stone Mountain count?
9. Held a praying mantis. Made both girls hold it, too.
10. Sang a solo. Once sang a duet with my best friend Brenda, "Tie a Yellow Ribbon"
11. Bungee jumped
12. Visited Paris.
13. Watched a lightning storm at sea.
14. Taught yourself an art from scratch
15. Adopted a child
16. Had food poisoning- yuck
17. Walked to the top of the Statue of Liberty.
18. Grown your own vegetables. It's really hubby, I just pick them and eat them.
19. Seen the Mona Lisa in France
20. Slept on an overnight train. When our son was small.
21. Had a pillow fight
22. Hitchhiked. Sorta. I was walking home in the middle of the night after a bad date (I'll tell you later) and the police picked me up and took me home
23. Taken a sick day when you’re not ill. They are called Mental Health Days
24. Built a snow fort
25. Held a lamb
26. Gone skinny dipping
27. Run a marathon
28. Ridden in a gondola in Venice
29. Seen a total eclipse I saw a partial solar eclipse in college. You can see the image in the shadows of trees- really! I watched a lunar eclipse at home with my hubby.
30. Watched a sunrise or sunset
31. Hit a home run
32. Been on a cruise
33. Seen Niagara Falls in person
34. Visited the birthplace of your ancestors
35. Seen an Amish community
36. Taught yourself a new language
37. Had enough money to be truly satisfied
38. Seen the Leaning Tower of Pisa in person

40. Seen Michelangelo’s David
41. Sung karaoke
42. Seen Old Faithful geyser erupt
43. Bought a stranger a meal at a restaurant
44. Visited Africa
45. Walked on a beach by moonlight
46. Been transported in an ambulance
47. Had your portrait painted
48. Gone deep sea fishing
49. Seen the Sistine Chapel in person
50. Been to the top of the Eiffel Tower in Paris
51. Gone SCUBA diving or snorkeling
52. Kissed in the rain. My very first kiss happened while standing under a weeping willow tree just after a summer rain. So very romantic!

54. Gone to a drive-in theater. My Dad would get us to hide under a blanket and "pretend we weren't there" so we could get in free. Years later I learned you paid by the car at that theater.

58. Taken a martial arts class

72. Pieced a quilt. I was 8 or 9 and sewed so scraps together- I don't think that counts

75. Been fired from a job. Yep- I was 16 or so, I wouldn't sleep with my boss so he fired me. I told his wife, I don't think she believed me
76. Seen the Changing of the Guards in London
77. Broken a bone. Just a toe, still hurts a bit in the winter
78. Been on a speeding motorcycle. Not since my teens
79. Seen the Grand Canyon in person
80. Published a book
81. Visited the Vatican
82. Bought a brand new car
83. Walked in Jerusalem
84. Had your picture in the newspaper
85. Read the entire Bible
86. Visited the White House
87. Killed and prepared an animal for eating. Fish and crabs. I grew up doing it. It still pisses me off a little to have to pay for crabs. Not sure I could kill a mammal though.
88. Had chickenpox. It was a few days after a guy broke into our house and shot my Dad. I had just turned 11. In my fucked up head I managed to make it my fault that Daddy was shot because I got the chicken pox.
89. Saved someone’s life. Maybe. While waiting for the ambulance to come for my Dad. My Mom went to get dressed, I was holding Daddy's hand. My mother told me if he stopped breathing to hit him in the chest. I hit him, I think. He later said that part hurt as much as the gunshot wounds.
90. Sat on a jury. Almost gave testimony at a murder trial the summer I was 10. The guy changed his plea to guilty before we testified.
91. Met someone famous
92. Joined a book club
93. Lost a loved one. Both parents. I feel very alone this time of year. I'd cancel the holidays if I could.
94. Had a baby. 3 beautiful ones, really
95. Seen the Alamo in person
96. Swam in the Great Salt Lake
97. Been involved in a law suit
98. Owned a cell phone. What did I do before I had a cell phone?
99. Been stung by a bee. and wasps. I'm allergic to them.
100. Read an entire book in one day. Hasn't every one?

.... after all of these questions, two boil it down for me..... the skinny dipping question and the marathon question......

..... all the rest are just build-up.......
