Proud

One of my jobs this year is to oversee attendance appeals. It is heartbreaking what these kids have to deal with in a year- death, cancer, homelessness, suicide attempts, crappy parents. And yet most of them still manage to keep their grades up.
Makes me very proud of them, it does.
